David Bowie has been one of my favorite entertainers since he stated, “You have 13 hours to solve the Labyrinth until your baby brother becomes one of us… forever. Such a pity.” Yes, I’m talking about The Labryinth. I was 5 and my little cousin brought it over for us to watch; I was hooked. I loved 80’s classics like “Little China Girl,” but it wasn’t until I found Bowie’s 60’s and 70’s hits that I became totally head over heels in love with the man. I have sang only 2 karoake songs in my life (I hate kariaoke with a passion); 1 was Cyndi Lauper’s Money the other was David Bowie’s Space Oddity. I almost took my inspiration from The Man Who Sold The World album but I was convinced by a youtube subscriber to consider Hunky Dory. The album has an amazing blend of shades.
